5 Principles and Practices for Family Catechesis Comeback


The year 2020 may be remembered as “The Year of the Pivot.” Catechetical leaders had to figure out new methods to engage children and families in meaningful ways while keeping them safe. In this session, we will consider lessons learned during the past year, identify some things we never want to do again, and suggest best practices for reviving family and parent involvement, especially if you suspended some aspects of family catechesis last year. Finally, we will look at the unique opportunities and strategies this new year offers for engaging families in 2021-2022.
