Dr. Jodi G. Hunt

Dr. Jodi G. Hunt holds a Ph.D. in religious education from Fordham University, a master’s degree in theology from Oblate School of Theology, and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the University of Dallas as a professor of ministry in the theology department, Dr. Hunt taught theology and religious studies at Antonian College Preparatory (San Antonio, TX) and Fordham Preparatory (Bronx, NY) and served as the director of admissions at the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education at Fordham University. Dr. Hunt's research interests are focused upon exploring Catholic education, digital and practical theology, and youth and young adult ministry through the lens of American Catholicism. Her work in these areas have led Dr. Hunt across the United States teaching and training lay ecclesial ministers in various Catholic dioceses, parishes, and schools.

When not teaching or writing, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with her husband and three free-spirited children road-tripping across the United States, participating in 4-H activities, and spending time on their family farm in rural Texas.
