Rose Hernandez

Rose Hernandez transplanted from Los Angeles to Fresno in early 2013.  Hearing the call of God, she left her home for a new land and currently serves as the Director for the Office of Formation and Evangelization in the Diocese of Fresno.  She brings with her over twenty years experience in both parish ministry and Catholic Education from Los Angeles, serving as a Master Catechist, a commissioned Pastoral Associate in two parishes, member of the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission, and in various other capacities as a workshop presenter and retreat director in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. She also had the opportunity to serve the National Forum on the Catechumenate and is currently associated with TeamRCIA.   Ms. Hernandez earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Ancient Greek and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry both from Loyola Marymount University.  Her ministerial passions are liturgy and initiation sacraments, while her personal passions are reading
